“We are extremely touched that your Everest Expedition will be in John’s memory.  It will make a huge contribution to the foundation’s success and I know that John would be ‘happy with that’.  Help for Heroes is an excellent charity to team up with and we will be very proud to be linked to them.  It is a massive test of courage and determination which you face, but we are sure that your commitment to the challenges ahead will give you both the experience of a lifetime and memories that will last forever.”

“Having served as a Medical Support Officer with RAF Lyneham's Tactical Medical Wing, I have seen some of the terrible, life-changing injuries that our guys are suffering and their long rehabilitation pathways. I am deeply moved by Matt and Pete's sheer determination to make a difference to the lives of these patients and their courage is extremely humbling. I wish Matt and Pete every success; they are huge characters who have been working tirelessly for 8 months to make this happen and their boundless positivity and 'can-do' attitude is an inspiration to anyone who knows them.”
